Letter: Stonier’s knowledge is needed

By Dustin Allen, VANCOUVER
Published: September 22, 2016, 6:00am

Monica Stonier has a voice that needs to be present in Olympia now and in the future. With educational issues on the forefront in the next legislative session, Olympia needs the insight of an experienced educator. Education policy cannot be created by those with little to no experience in the profession of education. Stonier is the only candidate statewide that has the ability to advise and weigh proposals that will impact our children and our schools with an understanding of how things actually work in the classroom.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
