PeaceHealth offers free mammograms for uninsured

The Kearney Breast Center at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is offering free 3-D mammograms for those who are uninsured and underinsured.

The free breast cancer screenings are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 22.

The screenings are open to women who are over 40, have no current breast concerns, live in Washington and meet income and insurance eligibility requirements of the Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program. To enroll, call 800-992-1817, ext. 1.

Verification for the program may require documents showing monthly household income and social security number.
