Ridgefield — The Rotary Club of Three Creeks was chartered in October 2016, and club members recently helped Clark County Fire & Rescue install smoke detectors in floating homes at the McCuddy’s Ridgefield Marina.

The smoke detectors were paid for through a grant and provided for free.

The club serves Ridgefield, Salmon Creek, Hazel Dell, Felida and La Center. Susanne Holmberg is president of the Rotary Club of Three Creeks, and was the driving force behind starting up the club along with her husband, Nelson Holmberg.

The club meets 5:30 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of each month at different locations.
