Letter: Losing an armada? That’s Trumpian

By Peter Brown, VANCOUVER
Published: April 23, 2017, 6:00am

I can understand misplacing tax forms, or a Russian spy or six. I can even get losing a golf ball or a wife or three. Nuclear attack subs with eight 155,000 ton warheads are possible, especially if you are busy trying to sell them to your Russian accomplice.

But misplacing a complete carrier strike force on its way to North Korea? It takes a Republican president of almost Trumpian intelligence to pull that off!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
