Orchards — The Orchards Evergreen Lions Club donated a shelter house barbecue grill to Orchards Park. The club bought the grill for about $1,900, money that was in the club’s general fund thanks for various fundraisers throughout the year, according to Rosann Grzesiowski, chairwoman. Grzesiowski said the club was looking to do a community project and called the county’s Parks and Recreation department to see what they would like for the park. The club was told the park could use a grill. The Lions presented the department with the grill and a plaque, which was placed on the barbecue. The Lions meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. For more info, call Grzesiowski at 360-601-8410 or Jack Robins, president, at 360-901-5727.
