From an Army veteran: If any football player wants to sit down during “The Star-Spangled Banner,” that is all right with this veteran. I just feel that any team owner, general manager or coach should allow that person to sit down through that entire game to make his protest and, of course, ask that person to donate his pay for that game back to the fans who came to see that game. Just a thought!
