Evergreen Public Schools receives renewed OSPI grant

Vancouver — Evergreen Public Schools received about $350,000 in state funding for programs that support homeless students, according to a news release from the Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Office.

OSPI gave the district $83,943, while the Commerce Department gave the district $270,000 to work with the Vancouver Council for the Homeless.

Statewide, 26 organizations received $1.7 million to provide in-school support for homeless students and their families.
