Girls basketball: Union 59, Hockinson 44

Mackenzie Lewis scored 14 points to help Union to a 59-44 win over Hockinson on Monday night.

Union took a three-point lead into the fourth quarter and Hockinson sent them to the line.

That’s where Union made 13 of 19 free throws to hold its lead. Alexis Raymore was 5 of 6 from the line in the fourth.

Lewis hit both her tries from 3-point range.

Marina Morningstar led Union with eight points.

Grace Russell had 16 points and Payton Wangler had 15 to lead Hockinson, which hit eight 3s.
