Girls basketball: La Center 76, Toutle Lake 17

Taylor Stephens hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter as part of the Wildcats’ 38 first-quarter points in the nonleague victory.

Stephens finished with a game-high 28 points, and also had eight assists and six steals against the 2B Ducks. Taylor Mills added 14 points, and Alyssa McKnight chipped in nine.

La Center held Toutle Lake to four field goals and led 38-4 after the first quarter.
