• Brian Pelky, residential and commercial broker for Windermere Stellar in Vancouver, was named 2017 Realtor of the Year by the Clark County Association of Realtors. Pelky has been with Windermere since 1996, and was instrumental in bringing back the association’s Realtor Foundation which recently awarded $35,000 in grants to 13 local nonprofit organizations.
• Leroy Santiago was selected as 2017 Ambassador of the year by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce at the organization’s recent Holiday Heroes luncheon. Santiago, of Global Security, was selected for his attendance log at recurring and signature events, the level of difficulty of duties while volunteering, taking the initiative to mentor new members and votes from ambassador peers.
• Rocksolid Community Teen Center has selected two new members to its board of directors filling the vacancies left by Kari Otos and Nancy Miller. Sean Philbrook, program manager for Identity Clark County, has broad experience in both private and public sector administration and serves on various boards and committees locally. Laci Rowland, branch manager for iQ Credit Union Battle Ground, was born and raised in Battle Ground. She has worked for iQ for more than nine years.
