ASTORIA, Ore. — The body of an Oregon woman who went missing last month has been recovered from the Nehalem River in rural Clatsop County.

Sheriff Tom Bergin said Monday the county medical examiner found no obvious signs of foul play in the death of Brianna Judge.

The 23-year-old woman did not return home Jan. 10 after going for a walk near the rural communities of Elsie and Jewell.

Authorities conducted extensive ground, water and aerial searches in the weeks after she vanished. The only major clue was the discovery of her boots at a bridge over the Nehalem.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
