Girls basketball: Mountain View 38, Kelso 31

Mollie Doyle was solid all night, but huge in the fourth quarter, leading the Thunder to a crucial victory in the 3A Greater St. Helens League.

The Thunder moved into a tie for second place with the victory.

Doyle scored nine of her 14 points in the fourth quarter. The game was tied after three quarters.

Doyle also led her team with seven rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

Eva Winsheimer scored 11 points for the Thunder.

Mountain View was held to 10 points in the first half before getting aggressive in the paint in the second half.

Kylee Gibbs led Kelso with 10 points. Kelso was held to single-digit scoring in all four quarters.
