A Friday evening fire damaged a garage in Vancouver’s Cascade South East neighborhood.

Firefighters were called to 2804 S.E. Briarwood Drive at 5:23 p.m. They arrived to find a working fire outside of the garage that had broken a window, Vancouver Fire Department spokesman Pete Adams said.

Crews were able to control the fire in about 15 minutes before it extended into the home, Adams said. No one was injured and no one was displaced.

A fire marshal was called to investigate the cause.
