Letter: Fireworks ban needs adjustment

By MaryLu Wilson, VANCOUVER
Published: July 9, 2017, 6:00am

I think the ruling that abolishes fireworks being set off in the city limits of Vancouver is stupid.

It seems that everyone from the city who wanted to set off fireworks came out to the unincorporated areas and wreaked havoc.

My neighborhood was a war zone from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Celebration is one thing, but this was purely and simply selfish indulgence with no thought for those living in the suburban neighborhoods.

Please discontinue the ban on fireworks within the city limits or ban fireworks in all of Clark County.
