Washington State Patrol is investigating after a motorcyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Vancouver.

Troopers were called to state Highway 500 near Northeast Andresen Road at about 9:30 p.m. for a reported crash.

They arrived to find an ejected motorcycle rider, identified as Daniel Rowe, 41, of Vancouver, Washington State Patrol reported.

The other driver involved in the crash, however, had fled the scene, troopers said.

Rowe, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center where he was listed in satisfactory condition.

Detectives with state patrol are continuing their investigation.
