Has anyone else noticed how every justification President Trump provides for his actions, money takes center stage. He clearly hasn’t learned yet that there are some things that money can’t buy.
To listen to him rant about how economically unfair the Paris climate accord was to the United States totally misses the point. America has a proud history of leading the world in solving global problems, even though America may bear a greater cost than other nations. This is how we earn global respect. I am grateful that the “Greatest Generation” didn’t feel the same way about World War II.
My hope is for a happy Independence Day — not necessarily the 4th of July — but the day we take a stand and remove Trump from office. Let’s truly make America great again.
