Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will be marking Father’s Day weekend with Steam Train Rides at noon and 2:30 p.m. June 17 and 18. The 1929 steam locomotive will carry passengers on a 13-mile round trip through north Clark County, including crossing the Lewis River, stopping to see Yacolt Falls and traveling through a 330 foot tunnel, before returning to the station, 207 N. The 10th annual Touchmark Car Show will draw thousands of car enthusiasts, with cars from 1905 to the current year on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17 at Touchmark at Fairway Village, 2911 S.E. Fort Vancouver Rose Society will hold its 64th annual Rose Show, titled “Rainbow of Roses.” This event is the largest rose show in Washington and the second largest in the nation. The Twilight Half Marathon gives participants a chance to run in the cool evening air, with half-marathon, 10K and 5K routes. The course travels along Vancouver Lake and the Columbia River, featuring food, beer and live music at the finish line, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Cancer Association.
