VANCOUVER – Vancouver Elks Lodge No. 823 will hold a flag celebration tonight at 7:30 at 11605 S.E. McGillivray Blvd.

The event, on the eve of Wednesday’s national Flag Day observance, is free and open to the public.

It will feature the posting of the colors by the Lewis and Clark Young Marines; they also will demonstrate the proper way to fold the flag.

The program will include a display of American flags since 1775.

The 45-minute ceremony will be followed by light refreshments. For information, call 360-256-0823.
