Minor League baseball update on Clark County athletes through games of June 17, 2017:

Triple-A

Jeff Ames (Skyview HS), Durham Bulls (International League, Tampa Bay Rays)
Position: RHP
Season stats: 0-1, 2.45 ERA, 22 games, 2/2 saves/opportunities, 33.0 IP, 45 Ks, 20 BB, 1.27 WHIP
Recent highlights: Has struck out 13 in last 6 2/3 innings over five games.

Double-A

Taylor Ard (Prairie HS), Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Southern League, Miami Marlins)
Position: 1B
Season stats: 65 games, .240 BA, 8 2B, 6 HR, 26 RBI, .322 OBP, .370 SLG
Recent highlights: Has a four-game hit streak; played opposite fellow Clark County native Clint Coulter in a June 9-13 series at Biloxi.

Clint Coulter (Union HS), Biloxi Shuckers (Southern League, Milwaukee Brewers)
Position: RF
Season stats: 53 games, .234 BA, 7 2B, 7 HR, 23 RBI, .322 OBP, .406 SLG
Recent highlights: Went 2-for-4 with two HRs, 4 RBI in 6-2 win against Jacksonville on June 9 while playing opposite fellow Clark County native Taylor Ard.

Ian Hamilton (Skyview HS), Birmingham Barons (Southern League, Chicago White Sox)
Position: RHP
Season stats: 1-4, 3.09 ERA, 21 games, 2/3 saves/opportunities, 32.0 IP, 32 Ks, 11 BB, 1.41 WHIP
Recent highlights: Started the season with Single-A advanced Winston-Salem, appearing in seven games before being promoted.

Taylor Williams (Camas HS), Biloxi Shuckers (Southern League, Milwaukee Brewers 40-man roster)
Position: RHP
Season stats: 0-2, 1.16 ERA, 9 games, 8 starts, 23.1 IP, 30 Ks, 9 BB, 1.20 WHIP
Recent highlights: Last appearance was May 25, went 3.1 innings with four hits, five strikeouts in a 10-4 loss to Biloxi.

Recent highlights: Struck out five batters in two shutout innings of relief in a 9-3 win against Carolina on June 8. Has not allowed a run in his last six appearances.
