PeaceHealth has hired Dianna Kielian as its senior vice president of mission, theology and ethics, the health system announced Friday.

Kielian will officially start Aug. 21, helping the Catholic health care system with its “systemwide ministry efforts” across its 10 medical centers, 900 providers and 16,000 caregivers. She will report directly to Liz Dunne, president and CEO of PeaceHealth.

Prior to her hiring, Kielian served in a similar role for nearly two decades at CHI Franciscan Health in Tacoma. All told, she has more than 35 years of experience, PeaceHealth said in its announcement.

PeaceHealth, based in Vancouver, is a not-for-profit health system with presences in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
