Gifford Pinchot National Forest snow report 3/2

Mount St. Helens — Five feet at Cougar Sno-Park and 6 feet at Marble Mountain Snow-Park. Road No. 83 was plowed on Tuesday.

June Lake has 138 inches of snow.

Upper Wind River — Road No. 30 is open to Lone Butte Sno-Park. If additional snow falls, visitors are urged to check www.skamaniacounty.org to get an update on road conditions.

Mount Adams — All the sno-parks have plenty of snow for winter recreation. There is between 2 and 3 feet in Trout Lake.

Grooming at Pineside and SnowKing was done last on Feb. 24. Road No. 82 between Pineside and SnowKIng may be slushy, with four-wheel-drive recommended.

Surprise Lakes have 124 inches of snow.
