The national journalism community today is little more than a booster club for the Democratic Party. It’s about time that someone in the Republican Party finally fought back, as Trump is doing.
The 2016 election demonstrated that the media no longer have enough respect among the public to be able to swing elections to the Democrats. They can either clean up their act or resign themselves to a role of irrelevance in American politics. By their behavior since the election, so far they have chosen the latter course.
