Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks all brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome, no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. Amboy Territorial Days seeks submissions for its annual photography show, open to all ages, as part of the annual Territorial Days festivities. Ribbons will be awarded in five different subject categories — portrait, landscape/seascape, animal/plant, buildings, work/play–along with the People’s Choice Award. Participants are limited to three photographs, mounted on 8 inch by 10 inch backing.
