Vancouver – Extra police officers from agencies around Southwest Washington will be on the lookout for impaired drivers today, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The extra patrols will be paid for through a state grant, and they’re meant to target drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol around Friday’s Cinco de Mayo festivities.
The department encouraged revelers to celebrate responsibly and secure a safe ride home as part of any party plans.
