Business plan workshop slated for Thursday

The city of Vancouver and an economic development initiative called Fourth Plain Forward will jointly host a two-hour workshop Thursday on how to create a streamlined business plan with analyses of markets, company descriptions, marketing and sales plans, and financial projections.

The workshop “Success Starts with Planning: How to Build a Snapshot Business Plan” will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Washington, O.K. Clubhouse, 4040 Plomondon St., Vancouver.

April Salsbury, founder and CEO of business management and health care consulting firm Salsbury & Co., will speak at the workshop.

The workshop is free. Children are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.

Parking will be available near the Jim Parsley Community Center.
