Sheridan’s Frozen Custard, an ice cream and custard restaurant in east Vancouver, has closed.

Owners, who could not be reached for comment, wrote on Facebook on Tuesday that “yesterday marked the close of a chapter for us as owners,” and that its employees would be offered severance pay.

The Facebook post also mentioned that employees may join a nearby Papa Murphy’s restaurant that is hoping to reconfigure.

Sheridan’s property, at 14389 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., is owned by Lovelace Properties LLC, a major franchisee of Papa Murphy’s locations in Washington.
