Letter: Port commission should expand

By Sheldon Tyler, Vancouver
Published: November 18, 2017, 6:00am

Given the significance of the issues before the Port of Vancouver, and how those issues can pivot based on one person’s election to the commission, would it be wise to consider starting the process to change the board from three to five elected commissioners, like the ports of Anacortes, Edmonds, Seattle, Tacoma, and others?

The commissioners can put this on the ballot for vote and reduce their stipend.
