Letter: Stand up for moral character

By Don Howard, CAMAS

I was shocked that voters in 2016 could even consider electing a president known to be a predator of women (by both his own admission on the “Access Hollywood” tape and 13 victim accounts). The case in Alabama with Judge Roy Moore is even more befuddling. With so many ladies now telling their childhood horror stories, how could Alabama voters and the lady governor even consider voting for a man who’s a morally bankrupt pedophile/child molester? What have we become when party value supersedes moral character and integrity?

I guess this situation also explains a tongue-tied President Trump.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
