Girls basketball: La Center 56, Woodland 46

Taylor Mills scored 18 points to lead La Center past Woodland 56-46 in a nonleague game on Thursday. The Wildcats led 17-3 after one quarter and never looked back. Whitley Seter grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and Bethany Whitten finished with five steals.
