The Vancouver Police Department and Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted a routine death investigation Friday evening after a body was discovered in the bushes near the offramp on Interstate 5 between Mill Plain and Fourth Plain boulevards.
Initial investigation suggested the death was not suspicious, Vancouver police Sgt. Mike Davis said, and it was not yet known whether the body is of a male or female.
Davis said that area is often frequented by the homeless.
No further information was available Friday evening.
