Nominees for Week 5 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian spring sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 7.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

KEELIE LEBLANC, CAMAS VOLLEYBALL: LeBlanc had 35 kills and 26 digs in two league wins for the Papermakers.

TYLER JONES, SKYVIEW BOYS GOLF: Jones shot a 1-under 35 and an even-par 37 in two league matches.

KENDAL SPENCER, PRAIRIE GIRLS SOCCER: Spencer had two goals in a win over Kelso and one more in a win over Hudson’s Bay.

KYLE RADOSEVICH, RIDGEFIELD BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Radosevich placed third overall at the Harrier XC Classic in Albany, Ore., in 16:00.

TYLER TROELSEN, COLUMBIA RIVER BOYS TENNIS: Troelsen won four singles matches in straight sets to help River remain unbeaten in league play.
