Letter: Orange is people’s choice

By Virginia Nugent, VANCOUVER

The attempt to remove Don Orange from the ballot for port commissioner reveals his opposition’s lack of integrity. Orange is an honorable Vancouver businessman and he will vote to cancel the port’s lease for the crude oil terminal. His opponent, backed by the fossil fuel industry, supports the crude oil terminal, turning Vancouver into a smelly, unhealthy oil town. Orange won’t let that happen. He believes in creating green jobs, keeping our city clean, healthy and beautiful. Vote for Orange, the people’s choice.
