Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 14.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

The Columbian adheres to a policy that no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

DARIEN CHASE, UNION: Chase caught five passes for 107 yards, all for touchdowns, in a win over Evergreen

JACK HILLER, LA CENTER: Hiller anchored an offensive line that open holes for the Wildcats to rush for almost 400 yards, including 321 by Wyatt Dodson.

DRAKE OWEN, CAMAS: Owen had three catches for 133 yards and 2 TDs and returned a punt 60 yards for a TD in a win over Heritage.

TAVIS PINKNEY, SKYVIEW: Pinkney caught seven passes for 154 yards and three TDs in win over Battle Ground

SAWYER RACANELLI, HOCKINSON: Racanelli caught nine passes for 173 yards  and three TDs in win over Columbia River.
