Nominees for Week 6 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian spring sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 14.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

KEITH LOBIS, UNION BOYS GOLF: Lobis won his second straight 4A district title by shooting 2-under 142 at Tri-Mountain.

DANIEL MATON, CAMAS BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Maton won the Gold Division race of the George Fox XC Classic in 14:59, helping Camas win the team title.

DELANEY NICOLL, RIDGEFIELD VOLEYBALL: Nicoll had 4 aces, 9 digs, 18 kills, 5 block and 29 assists in two league wins.

AMELIA PULLEN, WASHOUGAL GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Pullen won the Silver Division race at the George Fox XC Classic in 18:28.

BRYANNA UNGS, LA CENTER GIRLS SWIMMING: Ungs swam a state-qualifying times of 26.20 seconds in the 50 freestyle and 1:10.75 in the 100 breaststroke.
