Letter: Orange better for balance

By Bob Ives, Vancouver
Published: October 18, 2017, 6:00am

In the election for port commissioner, Don Orange is clearly the best candidate. I have known him for 25 years, professionally and as a friend. Orange is an ethical and conscientious businessman who “walks the talk” in showing that sustainability and environmental awareness are important parts of his local business. He’ll bring that sensibility to his duties as port commissioner. He’s a hard-working entrepreneur who’s built businesses, employed many, and understands the value of a vibrant business base. We can trust him to thoughtfully represent us to keep Vancouver and Clark County livable and use the Port of Vancouver property wisely.
