Letter: Greene can’t be trusted

Why this Republican opposes port commissioner candidate Kris Greene:

I’ve been opposed to the proposed oil-by-train project for some time. Now, with Greene’s embrace of oil interest’s corrupting $370,000, coupled with oil industry PR operatives facilitating much of his campaign, I’m opposed to Greene as a candidate.

This position is responsible for representing the interests of citizens in lease negotiations across the table with prospective tenants. Thinking that Greene could do that objectively with the very folks who gave him $370,000 and a lot of campaign assistance is delusional. I can’t vote for the man. Not even as a Republican.
