Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks all brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome, no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. Art

Gallery 360 invites artists to an open (non-juried) one-month exhibition limited to one piece per artist. The “Deck the Halls” exhibition is first-come, first-serve for the first 40 artists. The theme is general, and the subject is the artist’s choice. It does not have to be holiday related. Artists may enter the show beginning Nov. 10; deliver artwork to the gallery, 605 Esther St., Vancouver, during regular gallery hours. The entry deadline is Nov. 24 or when 40 entries are received, whichever comes first. The entry fee is $25 (or $20 for Mosaic members). The exhibition runs Nov. 29 to Dec. 30. www.gallery360.org

Theater

Va Va Voom seeks talent for its upcoming Christmas show, “A Christmas Quandary.” The group is open to those looking to sing, dance, act or work back stage to help put on the performance at the Barberton Grange and at senior living facilities. The musical theatre troupe feature participants ages 50 and older. Rehearsals are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, at Barberton Grange, 9400 N.E. 72nd Ave., Vancouver.
