Letter: Trump plan pathetic, nauseating

President Donald Trump recently declared his opposition to the bipartisan health care agreement put together by Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Patty Murray, D-Wash. Trump opposes what he describes as “bailouts to the insurance companies.” The bailouts are essentially help to the most needy low-income families, to cover co-pays and deductibles.

The president also said the insurance companies are already making too much money. If the insurance companies are making too much money, then why is Trump proposing the largest tax cuts in history to assist those and other companies? Talk about hypocrisy! How pathetic and nauseating to remove health care from the poor to afford massive tax cuts for himself and the wealthy!
