With rapidly worsening traffic on Interstate 5, even if or when a new bridge is built, it is time to start thinking of ways to connect between our two states. How about extending the light rail to Jantzen Beach Center? Then we could figure out how to install docks for a water taxi. Or install a gondola crossing the Columbia River. Instant tourist attraction, and a boon to the new waterfront businesses!
