Local View: Time will tell if McCleary funding improves our schools

Does it seem that the doors of our public schools gleam a little more brightly this year or that the yellow buses lumber along with new swagger?
Washington’s schools just became more expensive, when the Legislature, adjourning in July, appropriated an additional $7.3 billion to public school spending over the next four years, to comply with the 2012 McCleary decision of the Washington Supreme Court.
