Letter: Help build Woodland community

By D'Ann Horrocks, Woodland

I have taught in the Woodland School District within Special Services for many happy years. During all of these years we have been looking forward to having a local YMCA, not just for our students but as a way to incorporate our students into their community. Currently, we have to leave our community to teach and access many activities. Communities become stronger and more united when the members within it can be tied together in one local community setting. I look forward to the time when we can access our local YMCA to learn lifelong skills.
