Letter: Orange supports clean jobs

Look at the havoc that Mother Nature has unleashed in recent weeks — it should be a lesson that there is no way to guarantee “safe” oil trains.

I oppose increased noise pollution (from more oil trains on the tracks) and increased air pollution (from the oil particulates as workers unload the oil trains and load ship containers). A smelly oil terminal at the port will deter the development of new jobs in the city and is counterproductive to the vision of the development of the downtown waterfront. Vote for Don Orange, who supports more clean jobs at the port.
