Letter: Maintain fuel emission standards

By Toni Jacobson, Battle Ground
Published: April 5, 2018, 6:00am

We are finally getting to the point where we can see through the smog and now President Donald Trump wants to ease up on the fuel emissions to where we can’t breathe at all. I don’t understand his reasoning (if there is any); he has to breathe the same air we do. What is wrong with this man? Does he just decide to do something and then do it without thinking it through or discussing it with his Cabinet? Everywhere he goes, he just does and says whatever falls out of his head. I hope this is not going to come to fruition.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
