The Police Activities League of Vancouver received a three-year, $105,000 grant from the Firstenburg Foundation to expand its summer programs.

PAL will offer summer sports camps, science, computer science and backpacking trips at schools and park sites throughout the Evergreen and Vancouver school districts.

PAL is a nonprofit organization including volunteers from the Vancouver Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. It promotes positive relationships between law enforcement officers and young people.
