The Battle Ground baseball team wrapped up a postseason berth with a 4-3 win over Union on Monday.

Nicholas Muckensnabl drove in the winning run with a two-out double in the bottom of the seventh. That came after Union tied the game with a run in the top of the seventh.

With one game left, the win gives Battle Ground (6-5) a two-game cushion over Union (4-7) for the last of three postseason berths from the 4A Greater St. Helens League. The Tigers are one game behind second-place Camas.

The league’s No. 3 seed plays a bi-district play-in game Saturday against the No. 8 seed from the North Puget Sound League.

Tyler Russell struck out 10 over six innings for Battle Ground. Brett Joner went 3 for 4 with an RBI single that put the Tigers ahead 3-2 in the fourth inning.
