Letter: Trump saves country from itself

By Frank Krbec, Battle Ground

Half of the voters in this country are like children; they are poorly educated and will yell, stomp their feet and march until they get their way. They don’t want anyone to be deported and say that the Trump administration is cruel and inhumane by doing so. They gush with emotion, without thinking of the consequences of an open border — it just isn’t nice to separate children from adults and it’s so important that everything be nice. Yet, if someone commits a crime, like trying to jump the border with their child, you can bet the child would be taken away.

President Trump is trying to save this country from itself. By 2030 we could have a population of 500 million, pumped full of poor and hungry Latinos all wondering what happened to the American dream, and competing for scarce food and resources. It’s a grim future.
