Letter: Support Long for Congress

By Bill Ammons, Castle Rock
Published: August 5, 2018, 6:00am

I strongly support Carolyn Long for Congress and I urge you to do so, as well. I’ve counseled dozens of candidates over my half-century of community involvement. I know a good one when I see one. I have been so impressed by Long that this is the first time in 50 years that I am writing a letter in support of a candidate. I’m not a Democrat or a Republican; I vote for the candidate, not the party. Carolyn Long is honest, qualified, bright, well-spoken and energetic. And she comes from modest beginnings. She is exactly what we need in Washington, D.C.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
