Letter: Trump is an embarrassment

By Ward Upson, Vancouver

Once again our president has risen to the intellectual level of a 5-year-old by resorting to insulting language. He has to maintain that perfect record: you criticize me and I’ll call you rude, derisive names.

This time it’s LeBron James, athlete and amazing benefactor, who dared to criticize the man.

This behavior might be OK on an elementary school playground, but it is grossly embarrassing coming from the White House!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
