UPDATE:  Missing Woodland man found dead

The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in the search to find a Woodland man reported missing Tuesday morning.

The sheriff’s office said the search for Enrique “Henry” Ramirez, 51, began around 10:30 a.m., when friends and family reported he didn’t show up for an appointment that morning.

Friends went to his house and found his wallet, cellphone and car were there while he was not. A friend who visited with Ramirez the night before said Ramirez planned on going jogging Tuesday morning.

The sheriff’s office said he often runs in the area around his house, in the 400 block of Frederickson Road, about 7 miles east of Woodland.

Search and rescue teams were in the area, with more on the way, the sheriff’s office said, adding there’s no indication of foul play.

Ramirez is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office encouraged anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the office at 360-577-3092.
