MTV is bringing back “The Hills.”

During the 2018 Video Music Awards, the cable network announced it is reuniting some of the old gang for “The Hills: New Beginnings.”

The original reality series debuted in 2006 as a spin-off of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and ran for six seasons. The series followed the L.A. lives of stars Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port, turning them into household names.

According to a description, “New Beginnings” will reunite original cast members and their children and friends. Once again following their lives in L.A., the docuseries will also feature some brand new faces.

The network’s announcement did not mention which cast members will be returning for the new show. Several longtime cast members appeared together on the VMAs red carpet ahead of the announcement, including Montag, her husband Spencer Pratt, Patridge, Jason Wahler, Stephanie Pratt, Justin Brescia (aka Justin Bobby) and Frankie Delgado. Those noticeably absent from the festivities included Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner.

But the teaser for “The Hills: New Beginnings” does feature an updated take of the original theme song “Unwritten.”

“The Hills: New Beginning” will premiere in 2019.
